The finalised contents list for my short stories collection is as follows:

…I’ve been working on the formatting this week, as you can see from the previews above. It’s a complete bitch, because I don’t use Microsoft Word, so when I upload my files to Lulu, everything I’ve done looks off. I’ve been going through the book, page by page, to try and sort it all out. I’ve only got Never Seen the Sky to format now, but that’s by far the longest story in the book. I am going to cry.

Still, it’s going to be good once it’s finished. Once I’ve finished the first round of formatting, I’m going to throw together a basic cover and order a proof copy. I’ll read through this copy, correcting any grammatical errors, noting down any story improvements, etc…and then re-draft. So all of my hard work on the formatting so far is effectively nullified, but oh well. I never could do things the easy way!

Dan says he might be scanning in some of his illustrations later tonight, so I’m really excited about that. This will be a successful project, even if it kills me.
