Nothing to believe in.

I’ve been meaning to do this sooner, but alas, life happens. Annoying, I know. Anyway, my Hallowe’en costume was a success (although the night out was a different story), and here are the results for your viewing (dis)pleasure:

Hallowe'en - Witch Doctor

Hallowe'en - Nat, Lisa, me

…So there you have it, as usual, a spectacular mess. I’m still debating as to whether all the effort was worth it, seeing how it took so long to wash off the bloody handprints. I’ll go with a tentative “no”, on this one.

I also got a new mobile phone last week, because my other one was dead in all possible ways. My new one is a Blackberry, and I’m definitely in love.

Hallowe'en - Reflection

Hallowe'en - Preparations

As you can see, the camera quality isn’t too bad. :) Not that that’s it’s main intended function, of course. I’m trying to take care of it, but so far I’ve failed miserably to apply two separate screen protectors, so yeah. It’s hard being so shit at life, sometimes.

Other exciting developments include finally having a TV stand. Obviously, nobody offered to help me put it together, so I struggled with it alone this morning, and got mother to help me carry it up the stairs afterwards. It’s not perfect, but it’ll do. I’m looking forward to signing onto PSN for the first time in months, providing the wireless connection up here works.

I wish I had something of substance to say. My head is just so empty now, I’m on auto-pilot as I idle through the long days at work. January really is my shining light at the moment…sure, I’ll be broke again and I’ll be complaining after the first week, but I just need the time, right now. I’m thinking if I have some spare money, I’ll take myself to Paris for two nights, just to clear my head. I need to get perspective back in my life. I think if I go and sit with Oscar Wilde for a bit, and then go and get deliriously drunk in a hotel room somewhere in the city centre, I might have an epiphany and come back a new person. Sounds like a plan, right? Either that or I’ll get murdered. Both options are preferable to being in Wolverhampton.

I’d much rather you got blind drunk than deaded! :(
As would a few folk, I do believe. :P

What happened on the night out anyhow?

  2. Haha yes, dying would certainly put a stopper on the plans to finish this goddamn novel of mine, at any rate.

It was just a bit of a messy night! I probably shouldn’t say much more here, where others can potentially see!

And tell me about it over FaceSpace or whatever, I’m intrigued now! :P
