Well, in the end, I managed to have a good day.
Sorting out my hair was an epic, drawn out process that took me all of last night and then most of this morning, but I’d say it’s worth it. When I got in from work, my mum helped me bleach the roots…I was careful not to let it go bright blonde, and instead washed it out once it looked a dirty blonde shade. Then, I washed it with shampoo (no conditioner, so yes, combing that bad boy was a BITCH), slept on it damp, ready for this morning…my mum helped me dye the back, then she went to work, so I finished off the rest of the head. Whilst I waited for the dye to settle, I cleaned out Chip’s hutch, and once ready I rinced & deep conditioned my hair…then, dried it, straightened it, and cut it! Hoorah!

You can kinda see here how I’ve cut it, as well. A few subtle choppy layers, a slightly shorter/theoretically sweepier fringe, and a fraction off the length.

…I never did get the hang of smiling for the camera.
Anyway, I’m hoping this fresh change will make me feel a bit better about myself, so I’m not so bleeding miserable all week. Work is completely draining me of any will to live I may have previously had; the fact that I don’t get paid a full wage until 20th November only adds to the misery. Still, I feel productive when I’m there, and all of the other staff are unbelievably nice. I just wish retail wasn’t such arduous work, sometimes.
Things to look forward to this week? Absolutely fuck all. Rafa’s in a Master’s final against Davydenko, so if it’s victory awaiting him tomorrow, then that will be pretty sweet. Come on darling, you can do it. <3

/ 23 October, 2011Hi Rosi, I used Special Effects dye, which I get from BeeUnique (www.beeunique.co.uk).
The shade is Blood Red!
(I’ll post this in reply to both of your comments, so you hopefully see one of them)
