You rock my world.

I really need to start blogging more often. I go days with nothing to say, and then of course, a whole load of stuff comes along at once. Isn’t that always the way?

Four days until I move back in with mum, and counting. Part of me is dreading it, and the rest of me is looking forward to the free food and quality toast. BRING IT ON.

Speaking of Susan, she drove us down to London for the weekend, stay with my uncle (her brother, Alan). He’s a strange character, so visits are always worth talking about afterwards. Whilst we were down there, we visited Brighton for the very first time, and I took a whole load of photos. Wanna see a few? You don’t have a choice, just so you know.

By the way, you can click each of these photos to see the original full-size image, should you so desire. :) That way none of my Nikon’s quality is lost!!

This is the pier that was burnt down, last year. The ruins are stranded out at sea, which is probably why they haven’t been torn down yet.

Me being fucking awesome, obviously.

The pretty carousel on the beach. :)

I swear this bird was posing for me.

This is pretty much the most amazing name for a cafe, ever. It makes me think of Face/Off.

This is called The Pavilion; its a palace built by the Prince Regent, over 30-35 years of his life. Unfortunately couldn’t take pictures inside, but has to be seen to be appreciated, anyway. It was definitely one of the most amazing buildings I’ve seen in my life. You absolutely MUST go and see it before you die.

I was really pleased with all of the photos I took that day, which is a rare occurrence. On the evening Alan hosted a house party, to which a lot of his neighbours and their kids showed up. I’m not a particularly sociable person by choice, so I was left feeling awkward on the sofa for most of the night. I was shattered though, so maybe that contributed. Even though my foot was sore and I was suffering like only a true whinging-artiste can, I managed to hobble round Camden Town the next day. In truth, it was far too busy to enjoy, and I didn’t find anything to buy (although I did pick up a little something for Lisa).  Here I am being silly in the Morrison’s cafe:

Jammy git? Would that be a good caption for this?

If you have me added on LiveJournal, Scribbld or Facebook, you can see a load more photos from this weekend. If you don’t, well…I hope that’s enough! ‘COS IT’S ALL YOU’LL BE GETTING.

Interesting fact of life:
My mum finally enlightened me as to the proper usage of ‘it’s’ and ‘its’. I’m a grammar nazi, but I sometimes got confused. Now my life feels right again.

Marshall just said something awesome to me on MSN, let’s see if I can screencap it…

Marshall - Quote

…Yeah, that sums me up quite nicely.
