It begins!

This is my new blog, then. All of my posts will be going here from now on, and I’ll be writing as often as possible, so feel free to bookmark this page! So…HERE WE GOOOO!

I’m sitting here, having just realised that there is a hole in my jeans. Fuck that shit. These are my FAVOURITE jeans and I cannot afford new ones. Y’see, Student Finance decided that they’d overpaid me £800 this academic year, so my loan installment for this semester was meant to be substantially less…turns out it was £1200 less. WANKERS. After much bitching, calling around and writing of letters, my money is now apparently on its way. Good thing, because I’m down to my last £60 and I’m about ready to get desperate.

In other news, after almost four years of writing, Chronicles of Nom is finally complete. It ain’t very good, but I’m prepared to work with what I’ve got. Right now its more just the ‘bare bones’ of a good story. I printed out the first draft manuscript (320 pages!! My printer hates me!!) and Tom currently has it as his house. He’s making a few helpful notes for me, and once he’s done, I’m going to read it again, get all Grammar Nazi on my ass, and start planning the second draft. I’m thinking if I’m still unemployed by the time July swings round, I can get a decent amount of work done on it.

Life is good at the moment, then. United are one point away from winning the league, Rafa’s fighting for his fourth straight clay court title (bow, motherfuckers) and I’m pretty confident that the coursework I handed in a couple of weeks ago is good enough to get me a 2nd class degree. Obviously a first would be preferable, but needless to say, I haven’t tried my best these past few years. Ah well, we’re looking ahead. So long as its a pass and I don’t have to go back to Derby Uni, I’m happy.
